1 aIn the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah became king. 2He was bsixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned for fifty-two years in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was

6Now as for the rest of the acts of Azariah and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? 7And Azariah

lay down with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David, and his son Jotham became king in his place.
